The Great Dragon Race
The Great Dragon Race is a Clan Event introduced in Update 2.6 in which Clans can participate only if they qualify by having a Clan Dragon fully hatched. Participating Clans complete various tasks to earn ingredients needed for recipes they must then prepare and feed to the Clan Dragon, allowing it to move forward on the race track. The event runs for 4 days and all the Clans in the game are split into groups of maximum ten, in accordance to the league they are currently in.

Recipes[edit]
For the duration of this event, Clan Quests, in addition to the regular rewards, will also award ingredients needed for recipes. The ingredients that are given are randomly-generated by the game, thus no ingredient is bound to a particular type of quest.
There is a limit of thirty recipes that each member can cook during an event to earn points for the Clan Event. However, the player can opt to cook up to five more recipes at a cost of 20 Gems per recipe after the limit is reached. Recipes can only be cooked one at a time. Players can opt to refresh any or all of the recipes if they desire. Each recipe can be refreshed once every 2 hours or immediately by pressing the
button if a player wishes to pay the Gems cost to speed up the process. Each recipe has a different rarity and takes a different amount of time to cook. The recipes given to the player are random and the chances for their rarity varies. There is a 35% chance to receive a Common recipe, 25% chance for an Uncommon recipe, 20% chance for a Rare one, 15% chance for an Epic one, and 5% chance for a Legendary recipe. Once a recipe is complete, it can be fed to the Clan Dragon allowing it to move forward in The Great Dragon Race.
The ingredients that a player currently has can be accessed by going to the recipe selection screen and choosing the option. From here, players can request an ingredient donation once every 3 hours by selecting the ingredient they need and pressing the
button. The request will automatically be for 5 items of the ingredient selected and will be shown in the Clan chat. Each Clan member can donate one to five ingredients per request, with the maximum limit being set at 5. However, multiple members can donate. Donating is done by pressing the
button to the right of the ingredient. Each Clan member can donate up to a total of 40 items per day on various requests. Pressing the
button right next to the ingredient will show the player how many times they donated for that day and how much time is left until the limit for donations resets. Whenever any member makes a request for ingredients, a notification will be shown at the bottom-right corner of the
tab. Returning to the recipes screen, from the ingredients screen, is done by pressing the
button.
Once the player has enough ingredients to cook a recipe, the will be shown in the right of the recipe and pressing it will commence the preparation of the recipe. Once the recipe is finished, it must be simply selected and dragged to the Clan Dragon, the same as how regular Dragons are being fed Food, in order to receive the points for it and be able to cook another recipe.
Rewards[edit]
See Limited Collections for details about the rewarded Dragons for more information
There are three different sources that reward participating players with prizes, namely progress or milestone rewards, the MVP reward, and the leaderboard rewards. The MVP reward is fixed while the other two depend on the league the participating Clans are in. Clans in higher leagues will receive better rewards, but the requirements will also be higher.
Progress Rewards[edit]
There are five milestone rewards for the Clan to reach collectively. Each milestone rewards a card pack that gives Dragon Pieces only for Blazebird Dragon, Cinder Dragon, Hazmat Dragon, Knight Dragon, Noble Dragon, Orc Dragon, Quake Dragon, Shuriken Dragon, Skater Dragon and/or Treasure Dragon.
On the race track, each of the five milestones for each Clan is marked with a icon, as well as the scores needed to reach them.
MVP Bonus Reward[edit]
The most active member of the week will be awarded status and a certain amount of Clan Coins, depending on the league their Clan is in. Members can see the current MVP rankings by going to the menu where recipes can be cooked and pressing the
button. The rankings can also be accessed by opening the Clan interface, selecting the
option, then pressing the
tab. The latter option can also be used when there is no ongoing Clan Event, while the former can only be used during an ongoing event.
Leaderboard Prizes[edit]
The race track can be accessed by going to the menu where recipes can be cooked and pressing the button. Here, the current score of each Clan can be seen, the time left until the event ends, each Clan's currently active Clan Dragon and their position on the race track, the points needed for each milestone, and the
and
buttons. Pressing either of these two will bring up the leaderboard prizes, but the former button disappears if the Clan has scored the minimum needed to qualify for the leaderboard, as well as the text in the left of it, and is replaced by the
icon.
Clans have to score a certain minimum in order to be eligible for receiving the prizes from the leaderboard. Thus, Clans in League 1 will have to score a minimum of 7,500, those in League 2 a minimum of 15,000, those in League 3 a minimum of 75,000, and those in League 4 a minimum of 150,000. Clans not reaching that minimum score will not receive any of the possible prizes, regardless of their final ranking at the end of the event. The rewarded card pack gives Dragon Pieces only for Clan Dragons, with the exception of Chip, and the amount is in relation to the Clan's final ranking. When claiming grand prizes, it is possible to receive cards for Clan Dragons already owned.
As only one of each Dragon can be owned, the applicable card will automatically be compensated for by being replaced with a certain amount of Clan Coins in the event that this occurs. Thus, 50 are given for Ruptia, 125 for Striker, 200 for Gravelis, 350 for Amoura, and 500 for Brimstone, Kutter and Boone.
The amount of Food and Gold rewarded depends on Level Modifier.
