Island of New Beginnings.png

Introduced in Update 3.4 and functional since Update 3.5, the Island of New Beginnings was a small island located south of the Main Island that was only visible between the 16th of February and 19th of March 2018. The island could also be accessed through the Divine Event Button - Purple.png button located in the bottom-right corner of the screen. According to Professor Hogwin, the island had risen from the sea so the Divine Dragons could battle any challengers, believing that the more battles they won, the more luck they would have in the coming year.

The period of time during the appearance of the Island of New Beginnings was split into three chapters and an epilogue. Accessing the Island of New Beginnings displayed several menus, the time left for the current chapter, as well as its main prized Dragons, and a shadowy preview of the next chapter (in the last chapter, the preview was that of the Epilogue). Several Dragons, such as the Dragon of the Month or some from bundles, although independent from the island and its events, were also displayed among these rewards, even though the method of obtaining said Dragons remained the usual one.

Challenge Bosses

Challenge Bosses Button.png

During the Boss Challenge, players could earn Divine Tickets by defeating Boss Dragons and smaller rewards by defeating regular Dragons. 1 Divine Ticket was awarded for defeating a Boss Dragon. The Elements that could be brought to the Boss Battles were restricted, starting with all Elements allowed for the first battles. Defeating a Boss reduced the allowed Elements by taking away 1 random Element, making the restrictions getting more severe after each Boss. The Divine Element was the only non-random Element, being allowed in all battles. The hardest battles allowed only 3 Elements: the aforementioned Divine and 2 other random Elements, that changed each time a Boss Battle had been won. The Element restrictions could be refreshed Refresh Elements Button.png, but there was a waiting period of 2 hours before the next fight could start and it would only last until the next Boss was defeated. Every battle required a cooldown period of 2 hours to pass before the next battle could be joined.

When all Bosses on the current map were defeated, the map would reset with a new set of battles and tickets. Once the 4th round had been completed, the player was rewarded with the Sunrise Dragon. Any subsequent round after that offered 10 Divine Tickets. The Boss Challenge was unlimited with infinite rounds.

Any waiting period could be skipped through the use of Gems, starting at 9 Gems and then gradually decreasing. The enemy Dragons were entirely random, thus not all players faced the same Dragons. The only Dragons encountered by all players, in the same battles, were the main opponents, which also changed with each round. The levels of all opposing Dragons were in relation to the levels of the player's own Dragons.

Chapter III

Chapter III.png

The main features of the third chapter were the second Divine Chest, second Boss Challenge and the Dragon Dynasty event, the last having started in the first chapter. The Divine Chest offered the player a chance to obtain several prizes, such as Gold, Food and Dragons while the Boss Challenge offered the Moon Rabbit Dragon as its main reward, once it was completed.

Divine Chest II

Island of New Beginnings - Epilogue Button.png

In the conclusion of the Island of New Beginnings, namely the Epilogue, the only feature available was breeding the Pangu Dragon, who was available as the Dragon of the Week between the 12th of March and 19th of March. The main interface displayed a window with the Pangu Dragon and in the top-left corner of that screen, the Information Button.png button could be pressed to display the codex entry of the Dragon. In the middle of the screen, the Breeding Den along with the Fairy Dragon and the Fire Dragon, the parents of the Pangu Dragon, were shown. Underneath them, the Go Breed! Button.png button was available and pressing it took the player to the Main Shop.
