Participation and matchmaking

Clans participate by default to the Emerald Wars. Similarly to the Clan Siege, two clans compete with each other to reach higher scores than the rival and come out on top at the end of the event.

Objectives

Competing clans fight for the control of five Emerald Mines throughout the whole event. Controlled mines produce Emeralds every minute and the ultimate goal is to collect more Emeralds than the rival clan in the end. Players collect Battle Score by attacking mines and defeating opponent teams. Each mine has its own Battle Score counter and the clan that collected higher Battle Score all together will control it. Victorious fights grant players Emeralds beside Battle Score. In the end, the Clan with more Emeralds wins the event and takes home the bigger prize.

Emerald Mines

Players contest five Emerald Mines in total during the event. Each mine has its own specifications and restrictions. Mines with lower level restrictions produce less Emeralds while mines with higher level restrictions produce more. Also, Clan Leagues affect the production level of Emerald Mines and the number of Emeralds rewarded for winning a battle.

Level 30 Mine

You can use dragons of up to level 20 to attack this mine.
Produces low amount of Emeralds/minute for the occupant Clan.

Level 40 Mine

You can use dragons of up to level 40 to attack this mine.
Produces moderate amount of Emeralds/minute for the occupant Clan.

Level 50 Mine

You can use dragons of up to level 60 to attack this mine.
Produces average amount of Emeralds/minute for the occupant Clan.

Level 80 Mine

You can use dragons of up to level 80 to attack this mine.
Produces good amount of Emeralds/minute for the occupant Clan.

Level 100 Mine

You can use dragons of up to level 100 to attack this mine.
Produces high amount of Emeralds/minute for the occupant Clan.

Attacking a mine

Similarly to Arena fights, one opponent has to be chosen out of an Easy, a Medium, and a Hard rival. Defeating Hard opponents gives higher Battle Score but it’s also more challenging. Once the opponent is chosen the fight begins and the opponent team needs to be defeated to receive the reward for the fight. The Battle Score calculation is based on the following parameters:

  • Opponent difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard)
  • Enemy Dragons Bonus (defeating opponent dragons with higher levels is more rewarding)
  • Win Streak Bonus

Every player has 4 Energy at maximum and attacking a mine costs 1 Energy. The refill timer of 1 Energy is 60 minutes. If a dragon participates in a battle for controlling an Emerald Mine it needs to rest for a certain amount of time before it can fight again (it can fight outside the event).

Clan Quests and Revitalization Tokens

Regular Clan Quests can be completed during the Emerald Wars for Clan Experience, Clan Coins and Revitalization Tokens. Revitalization Tokens make your resting battle-tired dragons ready to go to battle right away. Revitalization Tokens skip the resting time and make your dragons ready for battle again immediately.
